In my group, we went through the lyrics and then split them up into sections so that we could come up with visuals to match the section. This helped because it enabled us to separate our narrative based visual ideas from our performance based visual ideas; we were able to create a relation between the lyric and the visual so that it makes sense and narrates the story.
